Any-hoo, this past Saturday at 9 pm on the SciFi channel was a movie called Alien Apocolypse. Bruce in the lead and as the leading lady Renee O'Connor! Pure silliness, of course!
Anyone else catch it?

I tried to watch it, but it was sooooooooooooooooooooo bad!

I have to apologize to Kevin Sorbo. For years I believed the downfall of H:TLJ should fall squarely on the shoulders of Bruce Campbell. Then, after watching Andromeda, I decided that KS HAD to have had something to do with it, as I could see shades of the same stuff on Andromeda. Now I'm back to believing it was BC's warped sense of humor that does not work well on screen.

I wanted to like it. I really did.

Don't feel bad, you're right, it was lame! I certainly wasn't glued to the TV. I was doing, like, 4 other things while catching glimpses! Anything with giant bugs as aliens is a sure hint of what's to come! Oh, what was the other movie on the other week... "Mansquito"!! Are they serious??
I know men suck the life outta us at times, but, do we need a cheesy movie? ROTF!

I like Bruce (an Robert Trebor), but, when Herc started doing too many of those corny, slapstick eps with them, things went downhill.

I absolutely agree! I loved the H:TLJ series until it started to become slapstick humor (purple farting cartoon dinosaurs?!!!!!!!!!!). It really irked a lot of us to see it turning into a colossal joke. We tried to tell them, but they didn't want to hear it. It's not like they didn't have good ideas. They did! And they took all of them and gave them to X:WP (and then ended that show with a dull thud).

What was with the schtoopid flourescent green stuff squirting out of the aliens? It was absolutely about as B movie as you can get...

And, personally I could never take commands from something that sounded like they sucked on one too many helium balloons!!! Hee-Heeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
