So what's up with all of you? Whisper sounds busy but I'll but my schedule up for review... I have decided to move home to be closer to my parents (live up the valley 90 miles north in Hanford). I have been:
---selling this house which means fixing, painting, finishing, etc...
---looking at houses up north (massive rise in land prices here in California)....
---leaving a job I love and saying goodbye to many great clients....
---finding work up where I live.

Whew... I'm half way there. I quit at present job on 5/27/05 and start up north at similar position on 6/27/05!

YIKES!

Hope all of you are well and happy. How are things going, Kendaa... I haven't heard from you since my last email... hope you are not overwhelmed. Maybe just happily busy with Gerald and the great Alexander??

Wow, Bastet! This next month or two is going to be hair-pulling! Congrats on the move. I love being close to my family. I'm very much a home folk. My sister in law lives out there... well, maybe not close, as I don't know where you life, but in Valencia, and I swear I could have two houses for what she paid for hers.

I'm still painting and fixing. I've just let the house go too long without do-ups. The hall is done now. PTL. Now I think I'll get some touch-ups done to the livingroom and paint the trim, and then I'll start on the kitchen. Ugh. The girls want their rooms done, but they may have to wait. I'm tired just thinking about it...

I so owe you an email indeed. Been working long hours (8 am to 6 sometimes, with no lunch most days), so come home and crash. I'll try and catch up on my email this weekend. Riz's family have now arrived from England, and as you guessed - the weekend's are the only time I get to see them all, especially Alexander the Great!

whisper... yes, Valencia is actually about an hour away. The housing prices there are MORE outrageous than here in the Central Valley.

... got word on Monday that the house I wanted in peak condition is MINE! yoohoo!!! Escrow closes around the end of the month. June will be my vacation before I start working but it'll be a working vacation. fortunately... I don't have much furniture so it should be an easy move.

I have just done the loan app thing and the mortgage was not as bad as I thought. Whew!

I'll post some pictures if i can figure out how!

I didn't get to see Hercules but it sounds like it followed the legend more. H:TLJ was a flight into fantasy but I liked Sorbo and the whole crew. The real Hercules of the legends was not a very bright bulb if you read the different mythologists. I think the Romans admired Hercules more than the Greeks did.
