...then reads rest of message...whew... LOL - thanks Mermaid!!!! It certainly is Saturday here now. I wish my brain had climbed out of bed with the rest of me! Gonna be a hot day here today. I was asked what I would like to do, and my choice was heading for a picnic in Whiteman Park, but seeing it's gonna be 37 (and already seems most of the way there) we're heading for the local swimming pool and a picnic there instead so we can jump into the water to keep cool!

I got my hair done last weekend. Got it all lopped off and gone radical in my older years, hehehe. Dark red with blonde streaks through the fringe and my right side, and both sides are asymmetrical. I LOVE it :D Nothing like ageing disgracefully!!!

How is everyone else? (Assuming anyone else is still here, LOL!)

Your hair sounds fab! You go, girl! Mines a dark red like Sharon Osbourne , although she has now gone to brown and thankfully I have not picked up her habit of collecting a hord of small dogs!!

I've been ok, getting over pneumonia this past weekend, don't know where that came from! Never had it before. Work is the same and that's not entirely wonderful! LOL! .

It was a wunnerful day, and we liked it so much and it was so hot the next day we went back again! Great swimming centre. Indoor pools, huge outdoor pool and a smaller, shallower and covered pool where kids can play (and we stayed in there because it was covered and because Alex hs just discovered he can jump into the pool, hehehe) Sharon Osbourne hair eh? I like her hair! I dunno, I personally think one can't have enough dogs! Laurissa and Alex went shopping after school on Thursday afternoon and came home with an 8 week old cross border collie kelpie puppy, LMAO! They thought she looked lonely in the pet shop window and had been there for weeks. Turned out she'd only been there one day! So Buffy the Whippet Slayer went home and is now merrily driving Pippa the Wonder Whippet into early insanity, LMAO!

I'll bet they all snuck off somewhere else and didn't tell us! LOL!

Went to a party for one of Alex's little girlfriends yesterday (they all love him and want to marry him, natch), and the highlight of the party (which was in full swing) was Alex whispering to me "Where's the party, aunty Vicki?" LMAO! He's such a little rager!
