a.m.
Before she got very far, though, Kendaa and Fayee popped out of their room, hair sticking up all over the place. "What is all this commotion?"
Elfy and Panny ran out like bats out of hell, waving bats and mace, "Where'd he go? Where'd he go?"
Lasermn tore over from the men's side, brandishing his Swiss Army Knife and Official Pot Stirrer Spoon. "Everyone remain calm!"
Even Herk and Ares had been awakened by Wike's early morning tantrum. "Where's the fire?!" "Hey, back off! I'm gonna save ‛em!" "No need; I'll do it!!" "They don't need you when they have me!!" "Why you!!!........"
Shamba and Julia called the common area on Julia's cell phone to find out what was up.
And before Wike knew it, Tabbycat, Deina, Shait, Jopru, Legendsfan, Lil, Amoreena, BT, Themis, and load of other Amazons (in all states of early morning dis-dress
) were surrounding her demanding to know what was up.
Whisper came out into the common area in her jams and moccasins, assessed the situation, and said in a fairly calm, but by no means entirely awake voice, "Well, good morning
Sunshine!" "Would it be alright if we all get up and get showered before we start making this day all about YOU?"
Far from being embarrassed, Wike looked entirely satisfied. Actually, she appeared to be considering the question, "I suppose. So, what time should I expect this party?"
The Amazons just blinked. Ares came over, grabbed Wike, by the arm, and started to lead her away. "You know I admire your hutzpa, Love, but you gotta know when to hold ‛em and know when to fold ‛em."
Herk ran up behind them and grabbed Wike's other arm, "See what he's become ever since doing that farm
boy ep?" "He's actually listening to Kenny Rogers now!"
"BOY?" "I'll show you BOY!" Ares started to grab Herk around the neck. Herk quickly backed up to prepare for his Captain Kirk kick to Ares' chest (he'd been doing a lot of that lately *shrug*).
Wike rolled her eyes and headed back to her room. When Whisper entered, Wike was lying on her bed laughing. "So, what are they saying?"
"I tell ya', Wike, they're confused! They've never seen you like that before." LOL! "Half of ‛em want to string you up, and the other half are saying it's hormones."
"Ack. Hormones." Wike made like she was gagging. "I hate that people always think my moods are because of my pregnancy or PMS." "Ah well, they'll find out differently soon enough!"

By 6:00 p.m., the Amazons, Hunters, and several gods and demi-gods had gathered together to finish up the decorations. It took them all day to get it done, and secretly most of them were glad to have been awakened early, although they could've done without the shouting. They did a lovely job. The cafeteria was made up to look like a disco-tech. There were liquid lights, lava lamps, a disco ball, and Aphrodite had even conjured up flashing dance floors the size of stages. All in all, it was very retro and very cool! When they finished, they all went back to their rooms to put on their disco-wear.

When Wike entered the *disco-tech* an hour later, the Amazons, Hunters, and deities had forgotten their earlier frustrations. They were all duded up in their hip huggers, flip-flops, Afros, tinted Lennon glasses, beads, vests, Wide Lapels (
), and more. They looked terrific! Wike looked around amazed and amused. "This is just perfect!" "Thank you ALL so much!" While she giggled over their costumes, each and every freak had a hug and a gift for Wike.
Little did they know, though, Wike had a gift for them too!
As soon as the group had sung "Happy Birthday!" and presented her with a HUGE flower-shaped cake, Wike stood up on the dance floor and introduced the five member band she had arranged to have play at her party. "Friends! I'd like you to prepare yourselves for the most fun you'll probably ever have. Please welcome N'Sync!"
The crowd went wild!
And Wike danced all night.
