The names have to be 1-2 sylables and easy for the animals and people to be able to remember.
That and Joe is sometimes different about naming animals. We have Titan the White Bengal Tiger (who BTW is doing awesome) and then we have Nitro the 4 month old Bengal Tiger cub. Titan is a Great name but Nitro?!
Anyway I am very thrilled about finally getting a cat named Hercules. And even though I am not an Ares fan, it was just way to purrfect! It was my 1st thought when Joe said we were getting Herc's brother.

Glad to see you back!
Our little Big Guy has grown and gained weight since we have had him these last 4 weeks. Ares looks pretty healthy other than being slightly smaller with the ringworms but with some RX, TLC and feeding up, I am sure that Ares will do so as well.
It Really is great to see you on-line again and Hopefully we'll have some reading to do soon? <BG>

Like I said the other day, Ares HAS an Attitude! Not mean just ornery as heck! I just Love the way they are so similar to Our Herc and Ares. Little Herc just lays back relaxed while Ares does his little pacing and baby lion roaring noises.
