I adore Christian, so I enjoyed the river scenes. But this novela isnīt a romantic love story, it is one of Bernardo Romeroīs esoteric stories about strange relationships, with an emphasis on the older peopleīs problems (oddly enough Iīm the age of the writer, but he is ill, and, knock on wood, Iīm not.) Anyway, because it isnīt a romantic love story, the scenes with Christian and Barbara werenīt really that romantic.......I adored seeing Christian standing there in the water, he looked gorgeous, and he said his lines with a lot of tenderness, and HE is convincing. Thatīs where I differ from MariC.......I do in fact like Pablo......although Pablo doesnīt begin to compare with the other characters heīs played........but I am so terribly fond of Christian, that I enjoy HIM very much. Barbaraīs lines were so complicated (Bernardo Romero)---she rattled them off, as opposed to Christian, who can make ANY WORDS sound sexy and cariņoso. Anyway, I enjoyed the river scenes, but now we wonīt have any more romance until the end, if in fact Bernardo Romero puts a happy ending on it. Remember "Mirada de Mujer?" All things notwithstanding, Christian is "un cielo"----------I adore him. Iīd like to see him in another romantic telenovela, as the others have been. If by any chance you read this Christian, or Barbara, itīs the writing that bothers me, and you know Christian how wonderful I think you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Un beso a todos! Elizabeth
