Nacho calls Editorial Herreros asking for Pablo. I guess Maria tells him that he's busy because Nacho seems frustrated and doesn't want to leave him any message.
Pablo is standing in his office, waiting for Iván to come in. Iván thanks him for seeing him. Iván tells him that his relationship with Susana is over, maybe Pablo is already aware of it. Pablo confirms it. Iván asks him who told him. Pablo answers that Susana. Iván asks him how is she doing. Pablo's glad that Susana finally came to her senses, she's doing better than when she was with Iván; she's alone but she's better. Iván tells Pablo that this time it was Susana who asked him to leave; he asks Pablo if he knew that. Pablo says that Susana didn't tell him, but he had the feeling she had dumped him. Iván would like to be friends with Pablo again, he'd like to start their friendship again. Pablo doesn't think it will be possible, not after Iván betrayed Guillermo and Pablo. Iván wishes he could go back in time. Pablo knows what he means, he's also wanted to go back in time many times, but all they can do is to be responsible for their actions. Iván asks Pablo for his forgiveness, to forgive him for not giving him in return the same trust and friendship Pablo had given him, and for breaking their friendship. Now Iván understands what he lost and feels so stupid. Pablo always told him that he was stupid and that women were going to destroy his life. Iván agrees and tells Pablo that he was right. Pablo suggests they go out for a drink.
In a bar...
Iván tells Pablo that many times, he woke up in the middle of the night wondering what would be Pablo's reaction when he found out that the man with whom his mom ran away with was him. Iván was not afraid, he had those nightmares because he knew that if he went ahead with his relationship with Susana, he was giving up his best only friend he's had all his life. Pablo doesn't accept it, but he does know that when you're in love, you see things differently from what they really are; when you're in love, you think you can do anything: solve any type of problems, climb the highest mountain, and most of the time it's not anything like that like that, love is not what he (Pablo) thought it was. Iván needs a friend like him. Pablo also needs one, but now their lives are split. Iván wants Pablo to know that he truly loved his mom, and he still loves her even though he knows that they might never go back together. Iván also adds that it might not help Pablo a lot, but he never wanted to take advantage of her nor hurt her. Pablo says ok, and that he has to go back to work. Pablo wishes him good luck. Iván says maybe some day... Pablo says, yeah, maybe...
Pablo goes to his house and finds Carmela sitting in the living room.
Pablo: You wanted me to call you but I'd rather talk with you in person.
Carmela: I'm glad you came. I can see you're finally getting that I'm serious
Pablo: What' was that threat about that you left with my secretary?
Carmela: If my lawyer doesn't hear from me, he'll go ahead with the embargo
Pablo: What makes you think I don't have enough money to pay you back?
Carmela: (laughs) I know it; I know you're financial situation; I know you don't have a dime.
Pablo: What do I have to do to stop the embargo?
Carmela: It's easy, all you have to do is move back home
Pablo: Look Carmelita, if I receive the warrant, I'll go to your parents to tell them why I want to divorce you
Carmela: Oh really, well, do as you wish Who are they going to believe: their lovely daughter or the man who made up a thousand excuses to marry me?
Pablo: You stop your lawyer or else I'll show them the evidence I have, and I'll send you my lawyer to start filing for divorce (he walks out)
Carmela: (while he's leaving), what evidence are you talking about, tell me
Pablo: Carmela, you certainly have very little brain, there's Nacho the photographer who is leading actor in this story, there are the negatives, also the person who took the pictures, and the doctor who practiced the abortion who will certainly have to testify. The person who has to make a decision is you. Goodbye.
Caro, Belinda, and Salvador return home from the ranch. They came home earlier than expected because Belinda was worried.
Julián and Pablo are talking in his office. Pablo asks him about his new job. Julián tells him that he thought about it, and won't be able to help with what he asked him to do. Pablo says he can't do that to him, he helped him get his new job. Julián understands, but he can't be gossiping back and forth, if he wants to, he (Julián) can pay him back for the recommendation letter, but not in this way. Julián doesn't want to betray Salvador who's been very good to him. Pablo understands, and asks him to at least tell him about Carolina, how's she doing. Julián doesn't know, she's working in her house; she's very happy; she's' very happy because she's getting married; her mom is also happy because she moved back home, especially now that her sisters Matilde and Rocío who's missing... Pablo hears the name Rocío and immediately calls Maria and asks her to repeat his messages. Maria names Rocío. Pablo asks, Rocío who? She didn't tell me, she said it was personal, replies Maria. Do you have her phone number, asks Pablo. Maria asked her for her phone number, but she hung up.
In the Morales' house...
Salvador and Caro are in the study talking about her work, computer, etc.. She'll teach him about graphic design, computers, that way he can run his business with a computer. Phone rings.... Belinda walks in to tell Caro that it's Pablo Herreros.

Pablo to Julián: She won't take the call, I know it.
Julián: Give it a try, just wait.
Morales' house:
Belinda: What shall I tell him?
Caro: Tell him I'm not home
Belinda to Pablo: Excuse me, my daughter can't take the call

Belinda to Pablo: Excuse me, could you tell me what's this regarding to?
P: It's about your daughter Rocío
B: Rocío? Tell me what's wrong with Rocío.
P: I'd rather speak to your daughter
B to C: You better take this call; I need to know what's wrong with Rocío, please take the call
C: Hello
P: Hello? Carolina
C: Hi Pablo
P: Hi, I was forgetting your voice
C: I'm a little busy, what's up Pablo?
P: This morning someone named Rocío called me. I don't know any other Rocío, and to tell you the truth, I couldn't take the call because I was pretty busy.
C: But why did she have to call you?
P: I don't know, that's why I'm calling you, to see if you know something
C: I have no idea; Rocío no longer lives here, and we don't know where she is. Did she leave her number?
P: No
C: That's weird...
P: I just wanted you to know
C: Well, thank you, bye
Belinda: What happened?
B and C look at Salvador. He's also looks back at them.
