Guille's house:
Pablo has good news: the lawyer is already working on his divorce, and Cristina's daughter and Nacho will testify....
Guillermo: Nacho? But isn't Nacho the guy who....
Pablo: Yes....
Guillermo: And you went to see him?
Pablo: Well, I hit him first but then...
Guillermo: Pablo!
Pablo: Nacho came clean with me. He told me that he sent me the pictures, and that Carmela told that she was expecting his (Nacho's) baby. And best of all, Nacho will testify. Also, the doctor who practiced the abortion will be called to testify. Father Corona tells me that I have enough reasons to get the annulment. Let's just hope that Father Javier and the bishop agree.

Guille: you got a phone call earlier today
Pablo: Who?
Guille: Carolina
Pablo: And what did she say?
Guille: She just asked me to give you the following message, and I quote: "Tell Pablo that I had a dream".

Caro is in the study, staring at the phone. Pablo is also doing the same in the living room of Guille's house. Caro lifts the handset, but puts it down again. Pablo starts dialing, but hangs up right away. Next, Caro starts dialing. Pablo also starts to dial the phone. They both get the busy signal.
Caro: No, no, you shouldn't Carolina
Pablo looks at his watch, then decides to dial-up again.
Phone rings
Caro: Hello
Pablo: Hello, it's me
Caro: Hello, it's me

Angela and Guillermo are having some coffee in either Angela or Guille's house. This time it was Guille who couldn't do it. Angela tells him not to worry and jokes that now they're even.

Next day...

Pablo is reading a book in his living room. Carmela comes to see him.
Carmela: María gave me your address. We need to talk.
Pablo: We have nothing to say to each other. If you have something to say, do it through my lawyer. I don't want to see you. It bugs me to see you.
Carmela: I came to tell you that there will be no mutual agreement.
Pablo: I can't believe it.
Carmela: We can still save our marriage
Pablo: That's your problem; you think you own me, and that you can do as you please.
Carmela: You're still my husband.
Pablo: No, I'm not. I'll do everything in my power to change that. You already has the publishing company, why don't you concentrate on your work and stop bothering me. I'll also do the same.
Carmela: You had it all sort out. I can't do anything at work unless I have Guillermo and Susana's authorization. You waited until I signed the papers to present your resignation. Who helped you plan this: Carolina? Of course, she wants to ruin me.
Pablo: Caro had nothing to do with it, just as she had nothing to do with you pregnancy and abortion. Why don't you go home and accept the divorce by mutual agreement. Or else, I'll show your dad the pictures.
Carmela: You have no pictures.
Pablo: I've got the negatives.
She takes her gun out and points it at her, telling him that she'll kill herself.
Pablo: (taking it calmly, almost brushing it off) So, what are you waiting for?
She doesn't shoot herself.
Pablo: Don't you realize that it would be the easiest thing for me?. You would save me all the divorce paperwork.
Carmela: There's no secret anymore. The Quintana sisters told everyone about it; my friends don't take my calls.
Pablo: Face it Carmela, our marriage was a mistake.
Carmela: I'm going back home, but it doesn't mean it's over between us.

Salvador calls Julián and Pilar. They're in a restaurant. Pilar thinks he's planning another surprise. Salvador wants to know what they think of Pablo and Caro, their relationship. Julian thinks that Pablo loves her a lot, they would've been the perfect couple but there were a lot of things that kept them apart. Julián says that there was a lot of love, telenovela-like, impossible, period. Salvador asks Pilar if she thinks so too. Pilar thinks that they both needed more will power, and that Carmela had a lot to do with their "break-up". Salvador asks her if had it not been for Carmela, they would've been together. Pilar says yes. Salvador asks her if she thinks they should end up together, like telenovela leading actors. Pilar says no, it's impossible now; besides, Caro will get married, the rest is in the past. Sal says that the past can be behind them, as long as it's not in the present. Sal tells them that they know he loves Caro, but... never mind... thank you very much for helping me make a decision.

Salvador asks Paco, his driver, to call Editorial Herrreros to get Pablo's cellphone number.

Salvador is waiting for Pablo in a restaurant. Pablo doesn't want to talk about Caro and was about to leave as soon as Salvador brought up the subject, but Salvador stopped him.
Pablo: What are you going to tell me? That you asked her to marry you, that she said yes, and that you'll get married on the third Friday of this month?, is that what' you're going to tell me?
Salv: How do you know that?
Pablo: Salvador, I know everything that has to do with Caro
Salvador: You still love her, right?
Pablo: Of course, I cannot forget her
Sal: Even though you know she agreed to marry me, you still love her?
Pablo: Look Salvador, you can marry Caro, have many children, and live together for 50 years, but let me warn you, if you die before she does, I'll be there waiting for her.
(Salvador liked his answer and smiled)
Salvador: And why don't you save yourself the wait and stop the wedding?
Pablo: Well, that's something I was planning to do
Salvador: Oh yeah, and how did you plan it?
Pablo: I don't know, but I'll think of something
Salvador: And if you didn't come up with anything, you would've showed up like in a telenovela, in the middle of the wedding ceremony to stop the wedding
Pablo: Maybe yes, that would've been my last option
Salv: You wouldn't have been an easy rival.
Pablo: What do you mean?
Salvador: The mad bulls can tell when they're before a great bullfighter once they die
Pablo: Look Salvador...
Salvador: Another option would be to avoid the bullfight
Pablo: Are you telling me that...
Salvador: Yes, I'm very stubborn, and I really love that woman, but I'm also a gentleman, and I know that when I lose, I lose. And Pablo, if you want to get back Caro's love, I'll give you the road is opened.
Pablo: You're leaving the path opened for me
Salv: I wouldn't want to, but I have no choice. The easiest thing would be to just sit and think that she forgot all about you, that mean nothing to her, but that would be lying to myself. And one day, the lie will come around and will make me face the truth. Therefore, I'm backing down now.
Pablo: I don't know what to say
Salv: Don't say anything; just do me a favor, allow me to say farewell to her, like friends, with no hard feelings
Pablo: Fine, of course
Salv: You spoke with her, right?
Pablo: Yes
Salv: And were you going to meet?
Pablo: No, but I was planning to
Salv: Go ahead, but I just want to ask you a favor, when you two meet, I want to be there
(They shake hands)
Pablo: sure, sure

Salvador leaves. Pablo can't believe it.

Guille's house:
Pablo comes home, very happy. He sits, thinks of something and decides to call Pilar to ask her a favor.

Elena and Belinda were chatting in the living room. Caro will go out. Caro's ok with Elena being there; she'd rather have Elena there than having her mom stay home alone.

Guillermo comes home just when Pablo was leaving. Pablo is in a hurry, he'll explain later. Pablo just tells him that Carmela stopped by. Guillermo doesn't let him go until he tells him about Carmela. This is a funny scene. Guillermo is moving from side to side to prevent Pablo from leaving. Guillermo starts talking about Carmela, but Pablo is not paying attention to him. Guillermo asks him where he's going. Pablo tells him that he's going to get some fresh air, and slips out of the house. LOL!

Caro arrives to the meeting place (the roof of a building) and starts calling for Pilar. Salvador is the one who shows up. He came to say goodbye. He tells her that he loves her more than anyone in the world, he had never felt anything like that for anyone, it was love at first sight, but she deserves someone who loves her and who she loves, and he's not that man. If she marries him, one day, for the rest of her life, she will regret it, and he can't allow it. He gives her a quick goodbye kiss and calls out for Pablo. (Caro was pretty confused.)
Salvador: Pablo, promise me that you'll make her happy
Pablo: Of course Salvador
Salvador: Or you'll pay me with your life
Pablo: Salvador, I don't have to swear that to you but to myself

Salvador stands between them, holds their hands: I wish you to be very happy, you two deserve it; I hope you have a lot of kids, five: a priest, a lawyer, etc. but as long as they look like the two of you. Ok, this is too formal, it's time right?
Pablo: Yes, it's time
Salvador goes upstairs, followed by Pablo and Caro. Caro keeps asking what's going on.

A huge sign reads: "Caro, I love you, Pablo" A violin band starts to play. A table for two has been set up, with wine. The three of them toss, "friends, even though it's hard to believe, this has been one of the best day of my life. Salv hands them an envelope to be opened when they set the wedding date, it's his wedding present. Salv tells Caro alone that she made him very happy. Caro asks him what is he going to do. Salv will go to Spain, like he once said, one must never stop dreaming, maybe soon, she'll read about Salvador, the great bullfighter. He'll be fine. She gives him the engagement ring back, but he doesn't take it because like he said, the was made for her; she doesn't have to wear it if she doesn't want to, but she should keep it. It will be hard for her to forget someone like him. She hugs him. Pablo was standing a few feet away. Afterwards, Salvador walks up to Pablo to say goodbye. They shake hands and hug. Pablo then walks over to where Caro is standing, leads her to the table.

Caro: What's all these?
Pablo: It's for you, for us. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, you know
Caro: Pablo, I never stopped loving you. I tried to love Salvador, but I never stopped loving you, it wouldn't have been fair for him.
Pablo: It's fair that we're together. I love you so much
Caro: Me too
Pablo: Well, this is a dream
Caro: I once had a dream, that I want to keep on dreaming
Pablo: And why don't we dream it together for the rest of our lives?
Caro: I think it's a great idea
Pablo stands up and invites her to dance
They kiss. Pablo starts giving the guys a hand signal. Fireworks time!
