Summary - June 22, 2001 - The End

Caro and Pablo are talking near a pool, while Nacho takes pictures at some models in bikinis. Caro and Pablo talk about the progress on his wedding annulment - witnesses have testified. Pablo calls up Nacho to ask him why did he ask them to come. Nacho got a job in the US and wishes them all the happiness. Nacho gives them a Polaroid he just took when they were kissing. Nacho tries to apologize one more time, but Pablo stops him, it's not necessary, says Pablo.

Carmela is insane. In the house, she's looking at the pictures taken by the PI. Pictures of Caro and Pablo sitting in the park, in a restaurant, by the sidewalk, etc. She calls up a friend, but they hang up as soon as she tells them it's her.

Editorial Herreros:
Pablo and Caro talk about his job. He didn't want to take it at first, but Guillermo talked him into it. Caro is very happy for him. While Pablo takes a phone call, Caro steps out of his office unnoticed. Outside the office, Caro is pulling over a cab when Carmela asks her what was she doing with her husband. They argue; they slap each other, and Caro gets on the cab.

Cristina and her daughters will go on a trip around the world for three months. They will start in NY and end their trip in Madrid. Cristina doesn't want them to feel pressured into coming, but the girls say it's their pleasure to join her. They joke that they might find an Italian count, a French, or Spanish guy for them.

Caro tries to convince her mom that just as Felipe lied about everything else, he could've lied about Arturo's death. Therefore, Caro wants Belinda to request the exhumation of his body. Belinda doesn't think that Felipe could've gone that far.

In a bar, a guy is sitting next to Carmela. My guess is that he was trying to pick up on her, but she kept talking about Pablo and her problems. She blames Caro of course. They man got bored and left her alone. She kept talking and talking. Afterwards, she realized he was not sitting next to another woman.

Angela, Guillermo, Susana, and her boyfriend celebrate their divorce.

In another scene, Angela and Guillermo celebrate because they've finally been able to make love.

Arturo's friend in AA go to the Morales' house to talk about Arturo. He's surprised that they all think he's dead. He tells them that Arturo is alive in AA. Matilde, Caro, and Belinda go to AA at once. (They didn't even take their purses).

In AA...
(They all had their purse.) As soon as they walk in, they see Arturo mopping the floor and playing with his dog. They all hug him.

Morales' house:
Everyone is gathered to find out what the Vatican said in regards to Pablo's wedding annulment. Father Corona reads the letter. Pablo's wedding has been annulled. Pablo and Caro can now get married. They kiss. Guillermo tells them to start thinking what they want as their wedding president. Pablo jokes that he wants an IOU.

Caro remembers that Salvador left them a wedding present too. She goes to get the letter. The letter says that his wedding present is that their wedding takes place in the chapel of his ranch. He won't be there, but he left instructions. Pablo doesn't mind getting married in Salvador's ranch; he just wants to get married, period. Too bad Father Corona won't be able to marry them because he has to go to Rome, but Father Corona tells them that he'll be back to baptize Pablo Jr. Belinda stepped outside because she saw Elena from the window. Now that Arturo is back, Elena is going to keep her distance from Belinda even though Belinda tells her that they can still be friends. Elena gives her a goodbye kiss on the lips. Caro and Pablo walk out, right after Elena left. (same black t-shirt) Pablo has to return to the office, but Caro asks him to stay a little bit longer, she wants to take a walk with him. They start walking and stop in the middle of the street to kiss. Carmela sees them and starts her car to run them over, but Caro and Pablo are saved by a garbage truck! Carmela crashes into the garbage truck. She dies immediately.

Iván is getting along pretty well with his new architect partner.

Wedding day - Salvador's ranch

Consuelo is one month pregnant. Julián got a better job now. He's working for the newspaper that published the other article on Rocío. Consuelo's parents bought an apartment for them.

Pilar and Antonio are also together. They both have jobs now. Antonio is working as an undercover police officer in the discos I think.

Caro arrives in a small carriage pulled by two horses. Everyone goes into the church after her. Pablo was waiting for her inside. Matilde takes pictures throughout the wedding ceremony and reception. Maria is there. Cristina and her daughters returned from their trip. The daughters are dating twins, and they are kissing all the time. Guillermo tells Susana that they finally found a buyer for the house. With Angela and Susana's boyfriend or husband, they joke about how long Susana takes to decorate the house. Angela and Guillermo are expecting a child.

In the middle of the ceremony, Belinda sees Rocio's face in one of the angel statues in the church. She cries of happiness she sees Rocio smiling.

They play scenes from the wedding reception and religious ceremony back and forth. At the end, Pablo and Caro kiss. The end.
