thank you for the advice but i'm still encountering problems
i do:
did -a mp3 3 0 0 $mp3(%mp3.file).length
when the file is selected and when the file is playing i do:
.timer 0 1 did -a mp3 3 $inmp3.pos
but the progress bar doesn't increase. I did //did -a mp3 3 $inmp3.pos and it fills the bar and emptys it again

N.B: I'm using mdx v0.89 if that makes any difference
