The frame would be a problem if you wanted to have controls close together. Additionally, not being able to move controls would be pretty annoying, as would the controls doing stuff while people are trying to manipulate them. Anyway, it's not something I'm going to do; technically you could fake it yourself with the mouse movement stuff.
