stopping dialogs stealing focus

i have several dialogs i've intergrated into mirc that now sit in certain positions in my script such as a notify list to the left side of mirc and a small toolbar at the top of the channel window, also replaced the nicklist with a dialog version (i'm still working on that, still haven't quite figured out how to remove the nicknames from the list when they part the channel using just their nickname)

so here's the main question, these dialogs i've intergrated into mirc, i don't want mirc to loose focus when i select something within the dialog i've intergrated and by all right shouldn't steal focus because it's part of mirc. so is there anyway to stop it doing this?
