The main problem here is your jumping into a project thats more than well on the way to completion. First dragonzap would need to perform some type of pseudo interview. You need to know that a person coding style is at least similar. next you have to get the person up to speed on not only whats already done but whats planned.
No its not impossible to do I do it everyday with a few coders i know and trust but when we start a project we do so together and i already know them and they know me so thats time we dont need to waste.
The big problem is time. Dragonzap has alot on his plate i can imagine. If anyone were to help with mdx and needed some info from him it could take 2 hours or 2 weeks who knows? The other developer may have nothing but time on his/her hands but still has to wait.
