Need info on Indo Gov's response 2 fires. PLEASE !

I am a student at Coventry University in the UK currently studying the forest fires of 1997/8 in Indonesia. I would be grateful if anyone could send me any relevant information concerning the Indonesian Governments response, agencies involved and any future recomendations to reduce the impact of such fires.
