As you may know, I have been entrusted with writing the History and Character guides for this RPG. This involved direct contact with the entity called the "Eidolon Saga", which drove me temporarily mad. However, I now have discovered a Unified Nickle Theory which can explain the storyline. However, this theory involves rewriting/ignoring several bits of storyline.
Eidolon: The original, from an alternate timeline. Fought in Bardic Wars (alternate) on side of Daryl, but was a dishonorable swine. Epsilon split off from him after he was thrown into the future after Bardic Wars (alternate timeline) and went loopy. Attempted to go back in time to stop himself from doing evil stuff. Mysterious Force™ sends him back a few thousand years. He divided himself into Eidolon X (who spawned Milidi and buggy) and SRGPI. Technically only exists in the genes and minds of SRGPI, Eidolon X, and any of their subunits (note that no non-goo related entity except Krono actually ever interacted with Eidolon).
Epsilon: Evil side of Eidolon. Mind-Controls Eidolon X for a time. Killed by Eidolon X and SRGPI
Eidolon X: “Neutral” side of Eidolon. Put-Putted along until Bardic Wars (this timeline), where he helped Daryl. Thinks his name is “Epsilon X.” Flung backwards in time by Mysterious Force™. Gets bored, makes Milidi and that Bug. Goes on trials; zounds! I’m Eidolon X.
Kashi and Company: Offshoots of Eidolon X. Basically his “fighting spirit.”
Milidi: Moogle.
Aslobiliyolidon: Bug.
