Response to Anyone have advice on slides and slide film?

I can't really add too much more to the above. I haven't taken many slides for a number of years but, when I do, I use Kodachrome (both 64 and 200 -- the latter for when I'm using a long lens).

I did find out recently about a photo lab in Florida called Dale Laboratories. They will actually do prints AND slides from a roll of normal print film. They are a little spendy and I haven't tried them yet (I did send a couple of rolls off to them last week for prints only), but I've heard good things about them. Website: http://www.dalelabs.com/ . When I get my 2 rolls back, I'll report back here on my impressions. Next step for me (assuming I'm satisfied with the results of the 1st step) will be to send a roll in for both prints and slides and see what the results look like. Stay tuned.

Larry
