...is what I'm talking about. I too would rather record reality rather than fantasy.
My father-in-law was one of those photographers that would alter images in the darkroom. His photos were easy to tell that they were not reality. They looked like reality - but we all know that there are not 300' tall humans roaming around.
Now if I capture a photo of an animal and "Cut & Paste" it into a scene that I feel looks better - I personally don't feel that it's right.
I guess I would just like photographers to state when they alter images. I'm also a photographer that chooses to use a simple polarizing filter rather than any of the wide assortment of "reality altering" filters on the market.
I hold nothing against any photographer that alters images or uses a variety of filters (that's why those tools are available), however, I just choose not too.
