After a trip and you get your pictures developed, there's usually a few that you may like enlarged. You want a sharp enlargement but I don't always carry a tripod with me so I don't want real slow film. What type of film do you usually use on your trips and if you get any enlargements, what's the largest you go?

I normally use Kodak Gold 200. I print my own enlargements (ink jet from computer) and have printed up to 11x14 with very good success. I do use a tripod occasionally.

Film and Enlargements

Lightfoot- Like Nibi, I also use Kodak Gold 200. I feel it gives me a consistant look that I like as an inexperienced photographer. My camera also allows me to change the film speed "on the go".

When getting enlargements, I have typically stayed with 8x10's, however, I would like to try larger sizes. On my next trip to the BWCA, I plan on carrying my tripod for some shots.

Thanks,

Madl
