In the faint light of a distant star, far from Earth, the EAS Poseidon rests in one of the construction docks of EAS Hephaestus, a Gaia class Shipyard. Construction teams work on her busily. Teams of men in EVA suits, dwarfed by the huge Poseidon, weld her heavy deck plates into place while maintenance furies haul large space frame members into place. Inside of the recently completed command deck, high atop her hammer, the computer systems are being wired and installed. a small crew of men have put in some overtime to adorn the Poseidon with her logo and serial number, though they haven't yet finished painting her name plate.
Right now the Poseidon sleeps, but soon she shall rise from her slumber and serve Earth Force with valour. With a full complament of 96 Star Fury type fighters, she could bring a devistating force to the battlefield, but as it stands this behemoth is currently defenseless.
