The previous topic got me thinking: What would happen to the galaxy if Humans weren't around.

AD 1260 - The last Shadow War. The Minbari lose that space station. However, nothing ever shows up to replace it, so the war continues to go badly. Also, Valen never appears to unite the Minbari castes and form the Grey Council and the Rangers. When the war finally ends in stalemate, the Minbari go back to fighting among themselves.

AD 2220s - The Dilgar rampage unchecked through the League of Non-Aligned Worlds. Billions die and the Dilgar permanatley occupy the League worlds after their own sun goes nova. The Narns supply the only meaningful resistance, but are by themselves too weak to do anything about it. The Centauri are too involved with themselves to care.

I'm kind of curious what would happen in the late 2250s, since without Humans, there's no science vessel Icarus to wake up the Shadows. However, if the Shadows were expecting to return at this point, then maybe the Drakh wake them up. However, I'm not quite sure how they would go about convincing other races to join them. The Vorlons probably start working with some of the races, probably also attempt to get the Minbari to stop fighting themselves. The Narn/Centauri war probably still happens, and since the Narns are weak from fighting the Dilgar, they are easily conquered.

Suffice it to say, the Shadows go through the known galaxy almost completely unnopposed wreaking havok. Wars rage throughout the galaxy. Life is not good. There's probably other stuff I'm forgetting, but I think this is enough to prove that Humans are a GOOD THING.
