Response to Levity? You do know that word means "humor", right? (NT)_

But not in Aristotelian (sp?) physics. There are the four elements, fire, water, earth and air. Gravity is the tendency of water and earth to go down, and levity is the tendency of fire and air to go up. Gravity is now known as an attractive force (or whatever you want to call it) between masses, so it's logical to use levity to refer to a repulsive force between masses.
