How many times did the Omega have to shoot before they were able to score a hit? Look at the way the WS is moving when they get hit. They are literally flying in a straight line. In No surrender no retreat, the Heracles' fore guns weren't able to score a hit on the WS on the first volley, yet it's rear guns were able to destroy several SF in the first volley, despite the fact that the SF's were several times smaller.

Secondly, when Dukat's ship was shot up, keep in mind that all 3 EF ships and fighters were concentrating on his ship. What is amazing, in the next scene where we see the fighters shooting back, there is little visible surface damage on the Warcruiser. I have to stop now, got to do other things.....
