Being a sw fans i have always been fascinated by the starfighter dogfights as portrayed by sw, and other sci fi shows.
however b5 seems to add in more realism in terms of what the movement/dynamics should be in space, such as full ship rotations while moving in one direction, rather than imitating movement in atmosphere.
Anyway my questions regard the thunderbolt starfury (looking much like an old favourite the x-wing), this seems to be the most powerful and versatile of the younger races fighters. Is this true? Ok perhaps not as powerful as the minbari fighter but it is able to enter atmosheres, and carry missles for ground attacks, and other purposes. I dont think the nial can move in the atmosphere, nor the centauri fighters, or narn frazi.
