Re: PMA Future??

Interesting.

Having done some PMA traveling I know what you are talking about.

I just bought National Geographics Topo 4.0 Weekender Edition that covers the BW. It still has the portages through some of the PMAs and campsites on some of the lakes. (Though the CD with camps and portage database said it was updated in 2006.)

In a few days we'll be traveling through a PMA. Maybe we will report on the status of those portages. Maybe not.

I'm sure you can relate...I prefer to bogwalk than bushwhack through the woods, so I'll keep heading in to PMAs using creeks, streams, and bogs.
