As the average age of BWCAW users...

increases, there will be fewer users willing to visit PMAs. Also people are becoming less wilderness oriented and shy away from the risks/challenges of travelling to PMAs. The only solution is for volunteer labor, like yours, to keep these routes open.

Did you have much portage clearing to do this time? I imagine the Stuart to Sunday Lake route did require a bit of cutting but what of the other portages?
