why? It's a PMA for a reason

by pghportager (Login pghportager)

why would anyone want to clear portages in a PMA? I was under the impression that PMA's are supposed to be left alone from a management perspective, and much more akin to the Leave No Trace principle. Heck, I didn't think you were even supposed to use old campsites in PMA's if you found them.

There's a reason for them being called PMA's afterall.

I would encourage everyone to leave portages and sites in PMA's the way you found them, lest they become wide open highways like much of the rest of the BW.
