Maybe we should sponsor a "Cash Saturday"...

...in which we pay cash for any purchases, to "protest" some of the existing practices. That would reduce interest payments and payments made by the product/service provider to the credit card company.

I've started paying cash whenever I can, even though I pay balances on time and in full....usually. The time frame in when I receive the bill and the payment deadline has shrunk rapidly smaller over the course of the last couple of years and I've missed two payments (once when I was on a two week vacation). Burned me up....

The only way to get the attention these days is to hit someone in the pocketbook....
