I regularly use one...

by Out There (Login bwca1981)

but I pay it off each month and enjoy the several hundred dollars of cash back money I get from it each year. I find it very convenient to use but I use it with the whole realization that I will pay it off each month. It makes it easy to keep track of where you spend your money and buying stuff online is just about impossible without it.

I get a bit annoyed when someone pulls out a check book in the line in front of me and spends over a minute filling it out.

I thought about debit cards but those have pitfalls as well, like overdrawing your account. I was at the bank last weekend when a customer came in and wanted to know why his debit card was denied by a store. He racked up $185 dollars in over draft fees on that little fiasco alone. He was livid to say the least.

I think they are valuable if handled wisely.
