Head North Wednesday

Linda and I will head for the North woods Wednesday. We will spend Friday night at the Naniboujou Lodge near Grand Marais. The Grand Marais Campground was full because of the holiday weekend. We will stay at our camp near French Lake on the North side of Quetico. If you see a white 2007 Chev PU with a camper top, canoe racks and a GA plate, it will probably be us. Introduce yourself. We would like to personally meet any of you. We have a construction project that will take a lot of our time this Summer. Last year I cut and skint fifty logs. We hope to complete a small one room 12 X 16 log cabin this summer. Our present cabin has only one bedroom and we sometimes have guests. Next summer our Grandchildren will spend part of the Summer with us. This may be the first year that we might miss a canoe camping trip in the Quetico. We canoe daily on the lake that our cabin is on and on other lakes nearby. Our cabin is like camping as we don't have electricity or running water. You might run into us at French Lake or Atikokan.
