Response to I know Knife Lake could have some traffic,..

Excellent choice. The smaller lakes are not as heavily used. I've only been on Knife in September so I can't speak for it's popularity in the summer but that is a beautiful route. There was a prescribed burn on Bonnie Lake several years back, but it doesn't take long for nature to bounce back. You might want to think about camping on Spoon. There's a nice one just south of the narrows on the east end. Kekakabic has some nice ones, too, though. Strup used to see a lot of moose traffic and Ahmakose is beautiful in the fall.

Yup, chose a nice route.
