well, not really...there was a creek behind our house, and somehow I got a wheel off my tricycle and rolled it into the creek. My Mom had a heck of a time finding it. Since I was about 3-1/2 years old, I cannot tell you whether said creek could be paddled or not.
No, my recollections of living in Ft Riley will not be useful to you, but sometimes we like to offer up goofy, useless information around here just for the heck of it! happy.gif

Good luck. I'd check out GoogleEarth and look for water in the area. It's a great tool.
