River Point

by (Login HowardSprague)

I was only there once, quite awhile ago, but the cabins were nice and very clean. The grounds are nice, and you're by the Kawishiwi River as well as Birch Lake, so the surroundings are pleasant. Shouldn't be noisy or anything (unless there's kids staying there, of course!) I think it costs a bit more than most resorts up there. They have a gift shop but I don't remember about food/restaurant . Looks like any of their equipment you might want to rent should be in great shape - they had nice Lund boats and good motors, and they do outfitting as well - bodes well for doing a daytrip if you want. Takes a little while to drive into town from there, but it's a pleasant drive. Sorry, don't have much more than that.

....enjoy every sandwich.
