OT Cooper's Hawk taking a foot bath...

by Beave (Login Beav58)

I stopped home for lunch and as I pulled into the court I noticed this Cooper's Hawk standing in the puddle at the curb. I drove past and it didn't move. I went into the house and got my camera. I circled the hawk about 25 feet away slowly getting closer until it flew into a tree nearby.
When I came out to leave 20 minutes later it was standing in another puddle right across the street, but it was backlit, so ther was no good shot and then it flew away.
