61 north of Two Harbors currently has water running over at Betties Pies, Flood Bay and many other spots farther up the shore. Cars are currently stalled in the tunnels on 35 in Duluth with a reported 3 feet of water in them. Judging just from the river on my property - it's about 6 inches from the high crest of the July 4th, 1999 storm...with more rain to come tonight.

I've also heard reports the 53 north of duluth is flooded over as well.

"The movement of a canoe is like a reed in the wind. Silence is part of it, and the sounds of lapping water, bird songs, and wind in the trees. It is part of the medium through which it floats, the sky, the water, the shores. A man is part of his canoe and therefore part of all it knows."
- Sigurd Olson
