I finally convinced the family they have to visit the North Shore hoping that they will fall in love with it and want to check out the Boundary Waters in the near future. Unfortunately, part of selling the idea was the promise we would swing by Mall of America and the Wisconsin Dells on the way home to Indiana.

We are leaving Saturday and will be staying in Silver Bay. Our original plans were to visit the surrounding parks, Split Rock, Gooseberry, hike and ride the bike path.

Does anyone have good information on how to arrive in Silver Bay?

"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands, but in seeing with new eyes." ~Marcel Proust, French Novelist
