On the page entitled : "Here's Our Story", you'll read what I'm saying about the pictures of a large limb that has been found twice, propped up in one of our apple trees. The first time we found it was the weekend we had the encounter in October of this year. Now it's back up there again, even though I deliverately placed it back on the ground last weekend after showing someone else how I'd found it last month. I'd appreciate some thoughts about it's purpose, and the nearly 30+ days it's been since the encounter, and now it being put back there like that in the middle of the night.

I'm not sure anyone can give you as definative answer but those most common ones would be...

Or the creature you indicate that was witnessed is replacing the limb lean to as some sort of marker.

Here's where the speculations and romance of Bigfoot comes in....
Territorial? Directional? Invitation? who knows.

Might be one of your son's friends...vagrant..or a Indiana Bigfoot.

You mentioned a lake in your front yard and a marsh, but you didnt mention any footprints or hair on the wood. Did you look for either?

The area "he" was seen in, was mostly like 4+ inches of standing water, IN a yard with at least a foot of grass growth still standing on it. I had someone from the Indiana Bigfoot Society come out and look things over. Amazingly, there's nothing there to find. Up at the tree, there wasn't any trace of anyone being there. We're quite rural... and I'm certain noone came out to play a trick. I didn't tell anyone about the "limb" except those that were here when it happened and the folks at Indiana Bigfoot Society. I watch the tree religiously.. and I know last night's wind storm didn't pick it up and put it there.

I've baited the tree with a couple apples, one pair, and a raw potato or two. I'm going to leave the limb up a day or two, then take it back down and see if it generates any more attention. I just hope we can keep track of his "showing up" well enough to predict if/when he does again.
