I dont know what the big deal is.... How can anyone get any info off your isp number unless they pay a fee to get it. I would doubt its that big a deal. If someone wants to spend money to find out who I am....sve your money and just ask....hell better yet, send me the fee you would pay your provider and I'll gladly send you all my info.... who really gives a rats ass, unless you have something to hide....

I work for an Internet Service Provider. I cannot speak for other companies, but you cannot pay us a 'fee' to find out the identity of one of our customers. The only way you will get that info from us is with a warrant or subpoena alledging some criminal action.
Once again why worry about it unless your on the internet doing crap you shouldnt be. As far as im concerned those that are up to no good should be not allowed on the internet anyway. The whole purpose of the internet is a learning tool and communication design. If your hooking up w/ kids and doing crap you should'nt be and using it for criminal actions then, down you must go!!!!!!!!!! mwhaaaa , mwhaaaa,
seriously though, most of us on here are mature adults notice I say most i know there are kids on here when the parents are sleeping and shouldn't be... but i have nothing to hide so an isp doesnt bother me one iota
I had to take my computer and get it fixed. I had a virus and it messed my whole system. Good thing the guy I bought this computer from is a good guy cause he fixed it 2.5 yrs after I bought it from him.
Sorry if I lost my cool there. I just don't trust any info about my computer floating around the net.
