Hi,

What do you guys think is the most effective way or ways to condition yourself? Post as many facts as you can to try to explain this.

Sincerly,

Tim Kurt Downing- (TKD)

A few ways

March 14 2004, 7:24 PM

Endurance training of all types
strength training of all types
mental training of all types
nutrition

Practice what you learn OVER and OVER untill you master it then still practice it.

this is a simple explaination. I dont have enough time to go into details.

conditioning

For conditioning your "weapons" you should work the heavy bag.
It's particularly good for getting tough shins.

Circuit Training

March 16 2004, 4:15 PM

While in the Marines, we used to circuit train. We would run about a 4-6 mile circuit and stop every few hundred yards to perform an exercise.

If you read "Art of Expressing the Human Body" it details BL's workouts. After it was all said and done, he basically realized that he caould get the same results from circuit training as he did with his previous (more traditional) workout. He would work his bicepts and then immediately work a different part of his body like his calves. This forces his heart to make his blood supply go from his arms down to his legs. And that increased his cardio endurance a well.
