| - I have recently emptied my COFFEE cup for good, opting now for water and tea. I am unsure as to wether or not this has improved my health, or if drinking tea is worse for you.
Has anyone else given up coffee/tea etc, and has it helped you in the long run?
Also, are regular athletic grips good for building up forearms(in respect of antagonistic muscles)?
Cheers me dears.....Jake P
p.s. sorry for the title ripoff...im in a rush!

Yes, it is good that you gave up coffee. Besides the common sense stuff, most people don't know that coffee is bad for the bladder. Water is the best thing in the world to drink. Either bottled or filtered Brita water. Buy a juicer machine and juice veges and fruits. Those juices are REALLY good for you. If you are gone all day and don't get a lot of chances or have time to eat veges and fruits, drinking the juice straight from the produce is a great way to get some natural vitamins and minerals in you. Tea is good if you are drinking the herbal teas. Some teas will help relax you and let you sleep better while others will help you build up your immune system, sooth your throat (if you have sore throat), and some have vitamins in them. So my liquid choices in order of importance would be:
1. Water
2. Fruit and/or vegetable juice combo (straight from actual fruit and veges using the Juicer machine. If you don't have a Juicer, get one! It is a lifetime investment!)
3. Herbal Teas
4. Skim milk (All protein. No fat) |
