Movies are allways biult up a little more then real life. To add the drama and charactor building. Ther were several missleading events. If you are talking about Bruce Lee the dragon story. But at least a movie was made.
if you talk about 'dragon' then it's true... the movie is great, i really liked it, but for example this fight, in which he got injured so bad. that was completely made up. he just injured his back by lifting heavy weights without warming up properly.....just bad luck... but all in all a awesome movie!
Dude that movie was fake start to finish. Not only that but the martial arts was crap. I am having difficulty trying to think of a scene that was true. If you think of it as a completely fictional story the plot might be considered alright but as a biography of a man it is bollocks.
of course this movie does not show lee's life in the way a biography does, because the story was made up in large parts, but i liked watching it, knowing this! I appreciate this movie as a fictional story, not as a biography...
Loose to what guy? You think he never lost a fight? If you are refering to the Wong Jak Man fight, that was the worst bit of story manipulation ever. The film made it out that this guy was some racist psychopath, when the truth is more like it was a challenge between to martial artists where niether side could say they one. It really gets me peed when people slander others particularly when martial artists do it, for some naive reason I still think martial artists should have some kind of honour.
The movie was very innacurate and I wished that they had kept it closer to Lee's actual life. I still enjoyed the flick. The odd thing is that the movie came out a few months after Brandon's death on the set of "The Crow". So I found the part where Bruce Lee (Jason Scott Lee) fights the demon to protect his son Brandon very sad. I was tearing up there for a second.
