Balance in motion is key to your success in combat. Don't think of balance as standing on one foot, with your eyes close. If you want to become balanced, while in motion, then concentrate on explosive exercises, such as plymetrics and sprints. The act of sparring is an impressive balancing act, that is the best way to train for balance, in motion.

Maybe have someone try to tackle you and you try your best to stay on your feet.

When I first started out in Miyagi Do Karate. My sensei taught me balance by practicing traditional blocks on the bow of a boat, practicing kicks against waves and practing the crane technique on a tree stump. I became so good at Karate that after a few months of training I finally won the "All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament" against some tough black belts from the Cobra Kai dojo. lol j/k
