Well, I really have high appreciation into Martial Arts and Jeet Kune Do. But I don't have money to go to classes for JKD. Does anyone know a good way to train? Or a website or a video or anything you recommend that will help to teach me?
Well if you interested in martials but do not have the money to train, may i suggest focus on your physical condition
push ups, sit up, crunches, /cardio, jogging, mountain biking etc.. strenghen your body and mind develop disapline by training..
If after all that u still want to do martial arts, save money, find a teacher and start training.. martial arts is not cheap anyone who has ever trained seriously will tell you it takes yrs of practice and dedication and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, why so much money, well there is ONLY one way to truly develop great martial skills and thats to have a good teacher, and well most good teachers are usually busy teaching ....
books, videos etc.. never will and cannot teach sensitivity, reflexes, adreniline or any form of real skill in fighting..
however i will recommend you buy lots of books and videos because knowledge is still knowledge and the more you have the better off you will be..
But it would be foolish, to believe learning martial arts can be done with out a instructor, teacher, sifu, sensi, coach etc..
remember punching and kicking is just punching and kicking(u can go by a heavy bag and other equip and just punch and kick it will atleast train you punching and kicking..(also if you are going to train alone i recommend reading on how to properly punch, kick, stretch etc.. so you dont end up hurting yourself...
You will find TONS of free information on my website that will help you learn a lot about Jeet Kune Do! http://www.HardcoreJKD.com I just found out that we are not going to be able to add the video clip section because we are almost exceeding the bandwith as it is! Oh well, still plenty of information and photos there for you!
Deathrobe has a good point. Work out and train on your own untill you can save some money to train with a teacher and students. Learn and practice as much as you can and if you like, take a few months off from training with a instructor but continue practicing what he taught you and continue working out, save money, and go back for some more training.
I just read the book called "The 16th Round" it's a book about Rubin "Hurricane" Carter. I'm sure a lot of you have read or seen the movie about him. When he was in prison, he trained on his own, in his prison cell. When he got out, he moved up the boxing ranks and became a Champion Boxer. So, it is possible to train alone and still become a fairly good fighter. Bruce Lee trained alone, too.

One way to go is just to ask the instrutor. Some may for go it if you show genuine intrest, you will probably have to do odd jobs such as clean the mats, take care of the equipment and generally run errands, but if your truly dedicated to the art its worth it. This also means more will be expacted of you because of the showing of dedication to the art.
I had to do this for my boxing classes when I was younger, but I think it was worth it. My trainer told me it was how he started in boxing a few years later.
