was watching this jackie chan movie called "Gorgeous", after a while jackie has to fight this little guy two times.. this kid seemed veryu much like doin jkd to me.. in quite good shapetoo . any1 els seen it? wt u think? know tat guy?
Jackie Chan studied under Bruce Lee for quite some time. Jackie was walking around in Bruces school and Bruce accedintaly whacked Jackie in the head so as an apology he trained him...at least thats what I've dug up.
That's the biggest load of horsecrap I've heard in a while. Either you made it up, or whoever your source is is a moron. Good grief. As for the movie, I've seen very few movies with fighters doing what would resemble JKD, and Gorgeous is not one of them. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic fight, and the fact that Jackie is able to pull off even half of that is amazing. But Brad Allen does do Wushu, Di Tang to be specific, which relies heavily on acrobatics, so he naturally has the talent to be in a Jackie Chan film. Wushu has absolutely no fighting application. It's more or less like ballet, except with martial arts moves. The communist gov't in China was afraid of uprisings so the went around a started killing off a lot of masters and taking martial arts and turning it into a harmless dance. Later on they realized how stupid they were, but eh, what can you do?
One excellent 3rd generation JKD instructor, coming up.
In Gorgeous Jackie fights against Bradley James Allan . Brad is an Australian fight choreographer and stuntman and is the first ever foreigner to become a member of the Sing Ga Ban. He has trained under Master Liang Chang Xing, who was, along with Jet Li, a former member of the Beijing Wushu team. I first noticed Brad Allan in “Gorgeous,” and I was hooked. From the first moves he made, I saw that this guy truly was a great martial artist. Incidentally, Brad was the bodyguard for Jackie while he was promoting "Who am I?" in Japan.
Jackie appeared in Bruce Lee's breakthrough classic Enter the Dragon, as one of the numerous people Bruce fights off. Although only on the screen briefly, Jackie's face can clearly be seen.

"You never know how long the battle is going to be... You must remain forever ready".
Jackie is the guy that puts bruce in a bear hug, then bruce grabs him and snaps his neck.
Jackie chan also played a stuntman in Chinese Connection. The last guy bruce fights, he flykicks out of the house. That's jackie chan when he's flying out of the house.
