this is a stupid question for many reasons not least that shaolin monk refers to no one in particular. both shoalin and lee are legends so both are shrouded with Hollywood nonsense, so no real assesment of a fight can be made.
Wing Chun, the art Bruce Lee modified and adapted, along with other Kung Fu systems comes from the Shaolin Temple. So regardless whether a shaolin monk or Bruce would win is irrelevent. And who cares anyway? We'll never know now would we.
Oh Yeah, that was a very clever use of my name. Wow your good.
Think of a Shaolin Monk. I do not know any in person or from TV, anybody else know a genuine Shaolin monk? If not how are we meant to make a comparison? You seem to be very clever go tell us.
What would be the circumstance for such an event?
If I am correct in my opinion of Bruce Lee, if a match would have been possible between Bruce Lee and a Shaolin Monk, all they would have done is nothing..
A more logical question would be which of the two could better defend themselves in hand to hand combat against the same formidable aggressor? If such a formidable aggressor were to make continual aggressive efforts against either Lee or a Shaolin, the formidable aggressor would likely loose to the same degree.
Bruce Lee and a Shaolin Monk would both relate to each other like fresh water to a thirsty man, therefore neither could ever compete in order to master over the other.
