| - Its been two years i have been training on my own. I have a question for all those who train solo. If you know your striking techniques, how do you train for grappling and submission without the aide of a sparring partner? Is there a way or, do you really have to go out and rally friends or make friends in Judo, Jujitsu and the like dojos?

That is a very good question. You have three options: #1 You buy one of those 135 pound dummies they use in wrestling or take down your heavy bag and wrestle with that. Or #2 you join a grappling school or #3 buy some Brazillian Jujitsu books and try the moves out on your friends. Trick them into saying "hey, let's wrestle" all the while you are trying out moves from the book on them LOL
The best advise I would give anyone is #2 because you have willing partners that are prepared to grapple you. With your friends, some might not want to and even if they do, they might not give you a challenge. A school that is all about grappling will help you get better cause you have a teacher there coaching you and you have resisting opponents that know what they are doing. I would of course supplement this with grappling books and videos to help. If there isn't a wrestling or brazillian jujistu school around, then follow #1 above.
Hope that helps,
