I'm new to JKD. I've never trained before save a few of those "one week free" martial arts classes that my friends are enrolled in. They are really fun and exciting and they relax me. I really enjoy them except I don't have time to be enrolled in a class and be practicing for long hours everyday (plus they are expensive), so I just wanna know some basic techniques and stuff. What is the best way to get started with some "basics." Are there any good books or movies that I should get? And what kind of workouts should I be doing everyday? And what kind of stretching?

EDIT - Although I said that I don't have time to be enrolled in a class, I might wanna try one out. If anyone knows of a good JKD school near to me that is not too expensive, let me know. BTW, I'm located in Stevenson Ranch, California. If you don't know where that is, it's really close to Valencia, California.
