Trying to balance Work/Martial Arts/Weight Training & and having a life.

I have been working steady at a labourous job for the past 3 months, actually I attended an Automotive trade school at the college and landed a job after my training. While attending school, I was lifting weights and practicing JFJKD, with great results. I was full of energy and physically fit. Now that I work, I don't have the energy I had and when I do work out, it effects my work performance in the shop, because my muscles are sore, my body doesnt seem to have enough time to recover. I think recovery is the main problem now. I stoped lifting heavy and relie on my work to keep me fit, but I barely have energy to practice JKD. What can I do? Maybe I should try supplements that help my body recover quicker? More protien, more Potassium?

Any suggestions and advice would be great!

Thanks.

muscle milk is pobably the best protein supplement. it's synthetic mother's milk. no joke! the stuff works. it also tastes pretty good.

I would say that train your ass off, and try your best at work.
You will probably get used to it. Remember, there are mma people who train 10hours a day. It takes time to get used to the work load

i know the egg is a fantastic source of protein. it is the best source of protein other than human mother's milk, at least according to what i have read. one of the main advantages of muscle milk is that only 2 scopps contain the same amout of protein of 4 to 5 eggs.

I'm still searching for the best stuff. Muscle Milk seems like it's what I'm looking for, but it's advertisment, I mean, maybe it's all hype. Oh well.

Ive started searching for new training idea's and Ive come across some interesting concepts, such as "Static Concentration" exercises. It seems like it's based on Isometric training, but you can actually gauge the pounds of pressure that you are applying, you get a digital read out. This seems like a good way of progressing. Actually, John Little helped create the training idea's for Static Concentraion and some of the science involved. Also, NASA is interested in testing this stuff in outer-space for astronaughts.

Here's the links if youre interested in the idea's.
