Tales was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I was eight years old just eight days after it aired on SEpt. 22, 1982. I only have one friend that recalls the show ever existed and thats only because we used to play Tales on the rocket ship during recess. I was always Jake. Of course, he was the hero! I was also Capt. Kirk, but that's another story. I remember the show was often not seen due to special presentations and I had waited all week for the show to air. Well I threw a temper tantrum while reaching for my fudge bar in the freezer and my dad screamed at me and sent me to bed. I loved Tales and it not being aired that night was just one more dissapointment. I just remembered now that I had these little plastic planes we used to play with and one of them looked a little like the Goose so I always played with that one. So Tales was a big part of my childhood years. It was another big dissapointment when it was canceled. It was the end of an era.
