Wow...after years of missing this show (I still have the cover from the Detroit TV Book with Jake and Jack on the cover) I found you guys while doing some online research about the Flying Tigers. So here's my question:

I know that the series isn't OFFICIALLY on DVD, but I've also seen a number of "complete sets" ranging from 10 dollars to over one-hundred! So, to thos of you who HAVE the DVDs, are worth it? How's the quality (both audio and video)? and who's set is the "best".

Glad to see the show has such a dedicated following!

The DVD set that come in a box set with the slick cover art, were taped off cable TV, and the quality is actually pretty good. The price is certainly fair, given that they are not a commercially released product.

There's a good quality set that comes with an anniversary special and some deleted scenes / bloopers which are really cool. I recommend getting that set. I think it's the one from goldmonkey.com.

Best,
Robert
