Inserting a picture into your post is easy to learn. These step-by-step instructions should ease the process for computer experts and novices alike.
The process is the same for new topics and for responses. The first steps required to prepare for inserting a picture are (1) to obtain a JPEG or GIF format file, smaller than 100 kbytes ready for inserting and (2) an open posting editor window. These instructions assume you have already completed these steps. If you need help starting a post, click here for instruction on starting a post.
Most of the process is the same for both of the Network54 editors. When necessary, the instructions will show the requirements for both editors.
Start from the window where you draft your post. When using the standard editor click on the Insert Object button.

If you are using the WYSIWYG editor, click on then insert image icon button.

A dialog will appear on your screen similar to the one shown below. Select the Temporary files folder.

The dialog will change to show a list of files in the temporary files folder and the Upload button will activate. Click the Upload button as shown below to select a file from your computer for upload.

The dialog will change again to show the Upload form for specifing and transfering the file. You need to provide a file name in the box to the left of the Browse button. Follow the instructions on the form to complete the file transfer.

After the file has been transfered to Network54, the image can be placed in your post. Select the desired file from the list shown and click the Insert Image button to complete the process and return to the Respond/Create message window.
